The “Lab of Educational Technologies and Robotics” was established within the Department of Pedagogy of the School of Philosophy and Education, Faculty of Philosophy, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with the aim of advancing research, teaching, and innovation in contemporary fields that connect education with technology. The Laboratory supports teaching and research needs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to the education and training of new scientists, as well as to the production of scientific knowledge in areas such as Educational Technologies, Educational Robotics, Haptic Interfaces and Human–Computer Interaction.
Within the framework of its mission, the Laboratory develops interdisciplinary research and educational activities that strengthen the integration of pedagogical science with technological advancements, promoting innovative approaches to learning and teaching. At the same time, it seeks to collaborate with academic institutions and research centers in Greece and abroad, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and the development of joint initiatives. Through the organization of scientific events, participation in research projects, the conduct of studies, and the production of scientific publications, the Laboratory operates as a hub of research and innovation, while also providing scientific services and consultancy, responding to the needs of society and education.
